17-year-old developer, I automate processes that improve efficiency and simplify work.
Every project is an opportunity to build and improve
I'm Davide Morzenti , a 17-year-old developer with a great passion for technology. I started programming at 12 and since then I've never stopped learning and experimenting.
I work on automation and robotics , developing custom software and constantly learning new technologies.
I believe that technology should automate and simplify people's work, adapting to their needs and integrating without creating new barriers.
The experiences that shaped me as a developer
Always passionate about technology, I buy my first computer and start independently understanding how software and computers work.
Through online research, I discover logic gates, start programming in C++ and deepen my understanding of computer architecture thanks to the 3 volumes by Graziano Frosini from the University of Pisa.
I start applying what I've learned: I build a programmable 8-bit CPU in Minecraft and develop my first medium-complexity software.
After reaching a good understanding of how computers and software work, I dedicate myself to studying electricity and microcontrollers, building the foundation for automation and robotics.
After learning the theory, I decide to test myself by building something real: I start my first robotics project, an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle), an underwater drone controlled remotely.
I start programming with Arduino, soldering circuits and controlling motors and sensors. In parallel, I deepen my knowledge of various programming languages, including C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
Having turned 16, I manage to find a company to work for during the summer months. There I have the opportunity to work with a real database and real data, and write my first automation software with actual use.
After the summer I resume school, but after a few months I realize it's not my path. I decide to leave the traditional path and return only to take the end-of-year exams. Thanks to the free time gained, I manage to further accelerate my technical training.
With more time available, I dedicate myself to studying advanced topics such as neural networks and machine learning. I also start preparing for official certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and Network+.
I return to collaborate with the company I had already worked for, developing robotics projects, PLC programming, database-based automations and 4.0 interconnection systems. In parallel, I prepare to create custom projects on request.
